First, hit those January sales. Jewellery will not date nor go out of fashion. Pascoes, Michael Hill, Farmers etc are currently having sales or specials. Earrings and necklaces are great for sisters, nieces, and friends. Rings are ideal for daughters, partners, wives or that special someone. For something unusual, try Walker and Hall – they have an amazing range of jewellery including NZ designers, vintage and kiwiana, and you will be pleasantly surprised at the prices.
For your brothers, nephews, sons etc the electronic stores are also having sales. Keep an eye out for bluetooth speakers – perfect for the techno geeks. Remote control helicopters are always fun, no matter what the age and Jaycar have an extensive range of remote control vehicles. Interestingly bamboo pillows are perfect for those who struggle to sleep well at night – Harvey Norman has them on special this week.
Buy at least one item this pay period and store it away carefully, ready for Christmas. Stationery stores have cut price wrapping paper and cards, stock up and store them away ready for December. Remember to buy some cherries as a reward for yourself – soon they will be just a sweet memory.
